Redefining the project management process for agencies with teckle.

Teckle is a SaaS solution built specifically built for agencies and freelancers to cover the use cases of managing projects, clients, teams, proposals, and invoicing all through a single platform.

We designed and developed the whole SaaS product right from carrying out user &market research, UI/UX, and development of the product. From its inception, the idea was to build a solution that makes project management less overwhelming and serves the specific needs of agencies and freelancers.

Approach

We started the project by gathering and analyzing the requirements. With the wireframes at hand, our team put together the UX research to finalize the design. Our lean, sprint based approach enabled us to test and implement the ideas quickly.

The goal was to design and build a platform that does not take away the simplicity and usability, but also put forward an enhanced user experience. With the new UI we also focused on elevating the look and feel to make the platform more pleasent to work on.

Implementation

On top of our research, we started our wireframe feature by feature, and we leveraged iteration and rapid prototyping. Upon finalizing the wireframe we picked up the UI/UX design of the product and finished the design utilizing the design principles. The ‘projects’ feature had a few iterations though being the largest module.

We started writing the backend simultaneously while we were in the process of product design. After the final version of the product design, we started the development by adopting the agile approach.

Outcomes

By establishing the users at the core we built an MVP within 4 months. Currently, we are building the remaining features to make the product go live next year. The live product is helping teckle gain traction online in terms of the number of users signed up and through waitlist.
